A Letter To My Lazy Female Friends

LETTER TO MY LAZY AND BEAUTIFUL FEMALE FRIENDS.

I stumbled on this picture on Facebook from a friend of mine.. I stared at  it several times and derived several meaning and lesson from the picture.

From this picture, i could notice she is putting on a NYSC jungle boot.. Meaning she might have just completed her service or an encouragement for her that she will serve one day!

Our economy is so rigid that everybody needs to take up a vocational job to backup his/her formal education.

While this lady chose to be a female mechanical engineer, solving instant problems faced by car owners, some chose to only go after guys who can get them the IPhones and pay their Bills.

When other ladies are busy striving and making exploits in different technical field, others are very busy uploading Facebook pictures and WhatsApp status.. I hope my article get to their timeline one day and they realise that time doesn't wait for no man...

Do you think that guy that is paying your bills isn't looking for something to get from you and later dump you when you are not productive?

Have you ever seen an investor who invest in business not feasible?
Hmmmm... I just spoke in parables... I  hope u got the meaning!

Find a work to do and stop flooding our timelines with non-productive contents.
Others are making money applying make-ups for client, but you are applying make-ups to flood timelines all in exchange for 500  Facebook and Instagram likes.

I hope u have a change of mind today and develop the habits of being productive!

Find a work to do and make extra income.

You can also pay bills yourself! Have that in your skull.
Kudos to those women and ladies who have led in the path to greatness for other women. We truly hope they take up the challenge and make life much more beautiful.

I hope i just challenged that beautiful and lazy lady,
We will surely win. - Adeitan Abimbola Moses

What a powerful delivery!
PMB, Once said "Nigerian Youth Are Lazy"
This birth the nationwide revolt, now known as the #LazyNigerianYouths movement.

Since at least 2015, talk of the lazy girl fashion and beauty trend has been popping up left and right.
If you Google the "lazy girl trend," however, a different narrative will make itself clear. Here, lazy is not synonymous with ugly, undesirable, a drain on society, slothful, or idle. On the contrary, pictures of beautiful women crowd the page: For the most part, these individuals are white-presenting, thin, incredibly chic, and a perfect picture of Eurocentric beauty standards.

I internalized the notion that through performing femininity I could help prove that womanhood was just as valid as anyone else's.
I must say Lazy Girl Trend Feels Fatphobic To Me.

Now, the exact opposite is happening. Women now want to give up their careers, and sit at home to enjoy a laid-back life and ‘give more time to their marriage’. And this idea has the husbands breaking into a sweat. It has become such an issue that some young couples are even on the verge of separating, just because the wife, (who the husband thought was ambitious), wants to stop working after marriage.

Consultant psychiatrist Dr Sona Kakkar, who specialises in marital therapy, confirms that this trend of women quitting jobs after wedlock is on the rise and is upsetting husbands. “Around five to six young couples come to me every month with this problem, and they say it’s ‘wrecking havoc in their marital life’.

I think a big career can be very exciting and fulfilling to a certain kind of person — one with enough privilege to conceivably get one. But I don’t think most women want a big career, or much of a career at all. It’s not a gendered thing, I don’t think most people would choose a busy career if they had a choice. And  women do have a choice.
